Emerald Isle 2012

Each year the Burgess/Goodwin side of our family heads to Emerald Isle to spend the week together.  This year was extra special because we were able to introduce Andy and Finley to all 60+ members of the family! We have our Nan to thank for this special time that we get to spend together each year.
We also got to meet our precious new niece Hayden. She is absolutely precious, and her big brother Parker had a great week as well!
The week was filled with lots of wonderful moments filled with smiles and laughter.  Here are some pictures that capture some of the fun we had.

Playing with Mommy!

Bath Time!

Fun with Nana Boo and Pop Boo!

Nana Boo and Pop Boo have been such a blessing to our family!  The twins have been so well loved!  We are so appreciative of how they have been there for us over the last two months!

We are Four Months Old!

We can't believe they are already four months old!  The twins are so much fun at this stage.  Finley is talking up a storm, and Andy has the cutest little giggle. We are having a blast watching them grow and change every day.

Good Luck Charlie and Patrick!

My brother Charlie and his friend Patrick are on an adventure of a lifetime!  A few weeks back they left for a bike ride across the country. They will be traveling from Oregon to Virginia over the next two and a half months.  They are going to see so many beautiful places along the way! Good luck boys! You are awesome!

Fun in the Sun!

In the past few weeks our family has really taken advantage of the beautiful weather.  We took a trip to Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens with the Adam's Aunt Beth, cousin Kate, Jan, and my mom.  We had a wonderful time looking at all of the spectacular gardens!  The twins had a great time snoozing in the stroller:)

We are ready for summer!

The Twins Baptism on Mother's Day

This Mother's Day was one that our family will never forget! The twins were baptized at East End Fellowship. We had family and friends help us celebrate, and we could not have asked for a more special day. We wished all of our family could have joined us, but we are happy to share some of the precious moments we captured on this memorable day. I am a proud Mama!
Andrew Seldon Burgess at 3 months.

Finley Leigh Burgess at 3 months

We want to thank my grandparents for coming all the way from Ohio to help celebrate the twins baptism. It was wonderful to introduce the twins to them, and to spend some quality time with them.  Here are four generations all in one picture. Finley was named after my beautiful grandmother.
